Captain Harish Chander is the Founder of HV Ship Management Pvt. Ltd. — a Master Mariner whose 25+ years at sea shaped the company's standards from the very beginning.
His career spans command of Oil & Chemical Tankers, Product Tankers, Gas Carriers, Bulk Carriers, and Log Carriers through complex trades, demanding weather, and the highest tiers of oil-major vetting. Ashore, he has served as STS Superintendent, POAC, and Mooring Master, completing more than 160 ship-to-ship cargo transfers across Russia, China and Singapore trade areas.
That dual perspective — command at sea and operational leadership ashore — is the foundation of HV Ship Management. He built the company on a simple principle: every candidate we present, every operation we advise, and every standard we enforce carries the discipline of a Master Mariner's career.
Under his guidance, HV Ship Management applies mariner-level judgement to recruitment, crew solutions, and STS consultancy — ensuring that principals receive people who have been evaluated against real-world operational demands, not just paperwork.
